The *GDU 15mm LWS SIDE ROD ADAPTOR attaches directly to the side of the RED V-Raptor camera or to the KOMODO with the V2 ROSETTE EXPANSION RIB. This adaptor has integrated 15mm LWS (Lightweight Studio) locking support. The adaptor can mount on both sides of the camera, with captured 1/4-20 bolts for operator convenience. Each pair of 15mm rod receivers is at 85mm from lens center. It offers additional 1/4-20 mounting points on the top and bottom of the adaptor. These threaded holes allow you to continue mounting your favorite accessory handles to the sides and confidently support your camera system. The Micro Wing Nuts that lock down the rods have been redesigned from the ground up to be ultra low profile. Any standard 15mm rails will fit the system for your specific use case scenario. The 15mm LWS Side Rod Adaptor completely changes the way that you gear up your camera and allows you new options such as the ability to get shots where the lens needs to be slammed close to the Earth.
